The Symposium will also include:
 - oral presentations;
 - a poster session.

Language: Simultaneous translation is not foreseen, thus Italian is the preferable language for presentations however, presentations in English and French are also accepted.

DATES AND DEADLINES:
15 November 2009: Final deadline for abstracts (total length between 2000 and 4000
                              characters including spaces and if appropriate graphs or images can be
                              included in the two sheets).

15 January 2010:     Notification of acceptance or lack of acceptance; notification will specify
                              whether works are to be presented orally or as poster communication.
                              Information will be provided regarding guidelines for preparing the papers

15 June 2010:         Opening of the Symposium and deadline for complete works. All
                             presented works (oral and poster communications) will be published in full
                             in the Symposium Proceedings

December 2010:  Publication of Proceedings. Publication of a volume of Proceedings (with
                          ISBN  code) in DVD format with colour images is foreseen; off-prints of
                          individual work is not planned.

Accomodation

Presenting Authors Guidelines:
The time length for each Oral presentation is 15 minutes (maximum).

Poster Session: authors will be present on 17 June from 16.30 to 18.30.

Pubblication of works

All presented works (oral and poster communications) will be pubblished in full in the Symposium Proceedings. The instructions for authors are listed in follow files  (french - italian - english) in  Ms-Word format.

Works for oral presentation:
Oral presentations may only be made using software for electronic presentation: MS-PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, OpenOffice.org Draw.

Posters preparation:
Just to let to the authors the possibility of rendering the best graphical realisation of poster, it only gives for preparation the following indications:
- the maximum sizes are: height a 118 cm, width 84 cm;
- on the top of poster: Title of Symposium, date and venue;
- title of work, authors and affiliations.
It is suggested that authors prepare some small posters (maximum size A3) for distribution to interested people during Poster Session (17 June).

Awards for posters:
Three awards are foreseen for the best three posters. The classification will not be with reference to scientific value, yet certified by Scientific Committee, but it will be regards to: completeness, clarity and immediacy of the poster presentation.
Partecipants (enrolled in Category A) will receive a form for express their opinion about the presented poster that they consider the best in according to the specified perspective; then the compiled form will give to Symposium Secreteriat. The prize-giving ceremony for first, second and third in classification will happen during social dinner of 17 June.
